... but I can see your point. A better question is, "Why does your site seem so simple and unfinished?" It's intentional.
I'm developing a web application framework called Elementric, which is currently in its infancy. Said framework is under heavy development and updated daily, but it's a slow, meticulous process.
Eventually, I hope to see it through to be becoming a robust, next-generation content platform ... but for now, this [gesturing to the site you're looking at] is all you get.

I Dig Your Demos; Can I Buy Those on iTunes?
No. Or rather, not yet.
I've got piles and piles of songs from years and years of failed bands and dead-end projects. I'm ambitiously trying to record as many of them as possible, weed out the bad from the good, and release them commercially in one giant blast of, "Ta-da!"
I guess you could call that, "Recording an album."
In the meantime, I'll be posting everything on this site in the hopes you'll listen, share, and help rate the stuff. I'm especially hoping you rate the stuff. That makes my vetting process all the easier.
I Can't Play Any of the Audio on Your Site. Why Not?
The most likely answer is that your browser is a crappy piece of crappy crap.
This site uses the latest in web technologies to play audio and video, so if you're running something a little older you might run into problems.
I'd recommend installing the latest version of Firefox or Chrome.
You can also directly download stuff and enjoy it. Or download it and hate it, I guess.
